Student Athlete Advisor
The Purpose of a high school student athlete advisor is to help more students get into college using a sport. Whether it’s using the sport to get a free education, using the sport as motivation to get a student to go to college and be successful or just for them to get another 4 years of playing the sport they love; a student athlete advisor can help with that process. After going through the college recruiting process myself and working at IMG, where we are expected to reach out to schools on behalf of the athletes there, I’ve realized that this is a program that could benefit all student athletes. There are roughly 2,000 college and universities that have sports teams. As the student athlete advisor, I would make a plan with the student about the level they could play at as well as discuss what they are looking for in a school. After we develop a course of action I will reach out to coaches on their behalf. I use a template with a small bio of the student athlete as well as their GPA, test scores, and highlights. Essentially this is how we help the not so obvious "D1 athlete" get to the next level. Below are some of the other topics I will talk to student athletes, coaches and parents about to help them prepare for college athletics. Contact me for more information and pricing.
